Keepsake is a full service Photography Studio.  

The new 5,000 sq.ft studio is located at 224 S.Lindell, Martin.Tn.38237  Available parking in the rear as well for easy access. 

The studio offers private dressing rooms and restrooms.  State of the art lighting, and modifiers are used as well.

I've spared no expense to bring you some of the greatest looking backdrops to consider when planning your portrait.  I have some great hand painted backdrops that don't take backseat to any.  

Props - There are photographers who spend a lot of time and energy on surrounding your children with props.  I shoot portraits of people and their loved ones, not props.  There is a fine balance on using props.  

Proofs:  You don't have to sit in front of a PC monitor or TV screen and view proofs.  You take paper proofs home with you.  Make your decision in the comfort of your home.  My work is good enough that I don't have to resort to pressure selling.

Average shooting time for children is blocked off for 3 hours.  It won't take that long, but I allow that much time to ensure, I get what you and I want.  No rushing here.

Senior Portraits

I've worked with several photographers from all over the U.S. last year teaching lighting and posing techniques, especially with seniors.  I'll be on the road this year teaching those techniques as well.  Between my normal studio work, weddings, children, and seniors, my time will be limited.  Just shout at me, and we'll see about getting that senior of yours in.

Most parents don't know that you can get Senior Pictures from Studios that don't have a contract with the local schools.  Schools require that (1) "Formal" which is the Tux and Drape and (1) casual shot get taken from the the school photographer, regardless of the quality..  

When it comes to casuals, the field is wide open to you.  You should shop around, and don't get fooled that you "have" to get them all done by a school photog.

Big change here.  Where do I begin?  I don't charge extra for B/W & Colour Coverage.  I mix up B/W along with Color, and hand colored images in your proofs.  

I sure had fun last year shooting my customer's weddings, and I'm already getting pumped up for this year. 

I choose to shoot from 6 to 8 weddings a year.  That's it.  Since every image that is considered a final image to be printed is edited, a lot of time is involved in that process.

Studio Atmosphere

This is probably the most important bit of information that I want to pass on to you.  From the moment you enter the studio, your are automatically greeted with a smile, and a very relaxed environment.  I'm usually wearing a T-Shirt and Shorts when shooting my customer's portraits.  I haven't found any customer yet that I've worked for, that really cared if I was wearing a suit and tie, or shorts and a T. ;)

Canvas Prints

Canvas prints and mounting are available as well.  The next time you're in, stop by and see some of my canvas mounted prints.  My canvas prints have an old style textured feel to them, without all the shine and gloss that you might have seen in other canvas prints before.  This non-gloss look really adds depth and dimension to the portrait

Wardrobe

Allot of people have problems in this area.  I'll help you coordinate your wardrobe with you if you like.  Usually for groups you want to all wear the same tones.  Let's take an example.  If you have a family and everyone is wearing dark tones, black navy, forest green, and one person is wearing white, yellow, or some other high contrast color, then the portrait won't quite fit.

High key portraits usually look better if the subjects are wearing white or lighter tones.  Same goes for low key portraits where the background is dark.  The subjects should be wearing darker tones.

While on the topic of clothing, Keepsake has some High Key dresses in the 2T & 4T sizes that we let our little customers wear ;)  If you have a little one, that is a 3T, the 4T usually works.  I'll just clip it from the back side.
