A woman's wedding day is one of the two most important days of her life, the second being giving birth to a child.   I understand that, and try to incorporate that thought throughout the day.  My photography revolves around the bride all day long.

Keepsake Photography fully understands the importance of your wedding day.  There's several things going on that day, and I do everything in our power to help minimize the stress that comes along with all the details.  If you need anything at all from me during that day, you should already know not to worry about asking.

Prior to the wedding itself,  I'll spend some time with the Bride to discuss exactly what she's looking for in the way of pictures.  This usually starts off with our initial meeting in the studio, and on down the road as the wedding date approaches.  I'll be in contact with the bride off and on, starting 4 weeks out from the wedding date.

I'll also make arrangements with the Bride and Groom to see the church to get a better picture, (no pun intended) of what type of shots the church itself will offer.

While at the church, sometimes the Bride and Groom may come up with shots that weren't covered in our initial meeting.  I'll also be at the rehearsal as well to go over last minute details.  Everything is pretty much laid out, and nothing is left up to chance.

Who ever you get to shoot your wedding, make sure you have everything nailed down to the last detail.  You don't want any surprises down the road.  Make sure you, and the Photographer of your choice get along O.K., and are on the same page

.  True, he/she is there to shoot your wedding, but you don't need some stick in the mud, throwing out commands to everyone.  I've heard enough horror stories already....

One thing about Keepsake Wedding coverage.  I'll seek out and capture the emotion that arises throughout the day.  Of course you get the usual formal shots, but the real fun starts when I start to capture those all important candid shots.  You just never know what I'm going to see, and capture.

Brides are no different than anyone else when it comes to finances.  You can spend all you want on flowers, wedding attire, wedding locations, and the reception, but in the end, it will only be your wedding photos that you'll have to remind you of that special day. You don't want to cut "too" many corners in this area.

Unfortunately, I've seen it happen too many times, that cost were cut on the photography,  and the photo's ends up looking just like that,  mediocre wedding coverage.

Oh, by the way, I'm always looking for a bride who wants something out of the ordinary with regard to her wedding photography.  If you have a special request, by all means ask.

Please note: I choose to shoot around 5 weddings each year.  All my wedding images are editing, and this takes time.  I also teach photographers around the US, and this takes up my time as well, as normal other operations of the studio, such as shooting families, kids, high school seniors, etc...

The same goes for the lighting aspects of your formals at the altar.  Studio lighting is setup and used to create that great soft light, we all enjoy.

When you book a wedding through Keepsake, you can pretty much remove the concern about
photography of this special event off of your plate, and concentrate on other details.

I don't charge extra for B/W photography.  You'll get quite a mix in your proofs as well.  I'll blend in B/W's, Hand Colored, Sepia & Duo-toned images in your proofs.

You'll get a chance to see a little bit of everything.  My Brides really like these Keepsake perks.

If you have any other questions just contact the studio at 731.587.3914.  If you don't catch me, please leave a message.  I always return my calls the same day.  You can always email me with any questions you might have.

Three pieces of free advice.

1st - Make sure you and the photographer have a good working relationship.  Communication is the Key.  You want someone that will work with you and for you, not one just throwing orders out.

2nd - Make sure who ever you meet with and talk with is the shooter of your wedding.  You don't want someone that you've never met with to just show up, and start clicking away...

3rd - Enjoy the day and have fun.... ;)

Please note:  I only shoot 6 weddings a year. Every image that makes the cut for your proof book is selected, and manually edited.   It takes me on average 3 to 5 days to edit these images.  There are never any UN-Edited images printed.

When ever a bride comes in to talk with me, we cover allot of details.  One topic that comes up for discussion at times is the Bridal Gown.  Ladies, if you haven't bought your gown yet, and that date is marked on the calendar, you have to swing by Lana's Bridal Boutique.  Denise, has a wide selection for great looking Bridal wear for you to look over and try on.  Click here to go to her site.
